I can send processed hides off to a tannery for a proper soft tan. Shop fee +Tannery fees + shipping both ways. Payment due in full before work begins. Hides sent off at customers risk! 

Alligators: 

Wall mount / rug mounts: $14/inch to the inch.

Whole body Stuffed: $250/ft and $750 per foot after 10ft. 

Whole body Mounted (on form) : $250 per foot to the inch plus cost of the form. Alligators over 10ft by estimate only. *Forms are required for swimming and suspended mounts which substantially increases the price of any sized gator. 

*Head mount (under 10ft): $250 

*Head mount (over 10ft): $325 

 *Add a plastic mouth insert for $350 for a fully finished gator mouth. 

Alligator skull mounts: $250 (no skulls from gators under 10ft). 

No snakes. 

Snake flat on board: $200 no head.  You must remove the head entirely before bringing it to me. 

I no longer do wholesale alligators for other shops. 

ALL alligators are wet tanned in house. The acid will whiten the teeth BUT this is still the best practice/method for reptiles. Teeth are cleaned and "browned" in the finish process. 

*** Due to warm weather harvesting, processing and long periods of time in the sun during harvest, as well as a huge amount of bacteria on alligators, many times alligators lose some scales (slippage) before and during the taxidermy process. 

Custom work available upon request. 

We offer cape processing for amateur taxidermists! Limit of two capes per customer per year. 

Deer Shoulder mounts: 

Fleshed, ears, eyes, lips and nose turned. $50. 

Small mammals: 

Cape fleshed, paws cleaned, face fleshed, ears, eyes, nose and lips turned, $75

You are responsible for thinning skin, sewing, and detail work according to your needs. 

Bayou Life Taxidermy will not be accepting fish of any species for taxidermy. I will be finishing up the work on hand but will no longer be accepting any new fish at this time. 

Change orders:

Calling to change the order/receipt after confirming the work order may result in a minimum 30% change order fee. That is, 30% of the total cost of your mount.

* All mounts done by Bayou Life Taxidermy LLC can be cleaned, painted and insect proofed for the life of the mount for free. 

* Not all animals can be mounted, even though they appear in good condition at drop off. Factors beyond my control may be at play in determining if hair, fur, feathers or scales slip on the animal. 

Liability Waiver Notice:

We are not responsible for work not performed by us. Any items sent off premises for work will be at the sole risk of the customer.
